You may use it to get to know your body better and connect or reconnect with it. It can allow you to heal from past negative experiences and teach you to embrace and love your body. Sex and sexual behaviour is a normal thing for everyone, and practicing sexual self-care can improve your sex life and general wellbeing. Sexual self-care can release feel-good hormones specifically through sex, masturbation, orgasm, or self-care generally.
So, what can you do to practice sexual self-care?
o Take some time to look in the mirror and compliment yourself and all parts of your body. Really get to know your whole body.

o Get tested and (if necessary) see a gynecologist regularly.
o Think about what works for you, whether that be creating a sexual routine or adding some spontaneity.
