NO experience? NO problem!
Join our team of crisis call and text line volunteers! Volunteers are expected to commit to a minimum of 6 hours per week for one year and must first complete a ten hour training program and one-on-one test. We currently offer this training in September, January, and May. To apply for the next available training session please complete the form at this link.
Most volunteers for the Centre for Safer Sex and Sexual Violence Support are also part of our crisis line team. It is highly encouraged that you complete the crisis line volunteer training if you wish to volunteer with C3SVS as it gives you all the information and skills you need to be a peer support volunteer. If you wish to be added to the volunteer list without taking the training, however, you can contact us to arrange a quick interview so we can make sure you’re a good fit!
